Today was a great day!
Drew did awesome today! He sat in a chair for about 3 hours and was able to go for a walk with the help of 2 physical therapists. His spirits are high and he is feeling great. He has a limited amount of pain, but is able to keep it under control. Tomorrow the physical therapists are coming back and Drew will go for another walk. In his past 2 surgeries, he has never walked on the first day of recovery and we have never had the help of physical therapists. Hopefully the recovery will continue to go smoothly. Again, thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers. We love you all!

AWESOME! That's Drew for you. Always going above and beyond! What a God-send this surgery has been and we know it will continue to be.
