Vacation Time

We are heading to Lake George, NY tomorrow for a week vacation and are very excited. My grandparents have a lake house there and we go every summer, this is the first summer we thought we were going to miss but we just booked tickets yesterday. Drew has had such a great week, we are comfortable that he can head out of town.

Drew has been a different person this past week. He is feeling much better and excited to get out of town. Drew had a doc appt. on Friday and he said it was the best he has seen him look in months and Drew even gained 5 pounds. He has his appetite back and has been constantly eating. The doc gave him the ok to travel and thinks it is a great idea for us to get away for awhile.

This past week we also hired some painters and they transformed our guest room into a new room for Aubrey. They also put crown molding in 2 bedrooms, living room, and hallways. It looks great and we are very excited to get Aubrey's new room ready as well as the baby's room. We painted Aubrey's new room green and her bathroom yellow. Although she seems excited to move into her new room, she has made it clear that she wanted a red room and does not like the green. It is really funny because whenever she hears me tell someone about her new room she reminds me that her new room is not red and it was supposed to be.

One more day and then vacation! We can't wait to get away.
